On Tuesday, February 4th, ECP held another hands-on fun-filled workshop at St. Lucy’s Day School for the Visually Impaired.  Parents learned how to encourage and assist their children in becoming more independent by performing daily hygiene tasks on their own.  Lachelle Smith, Program Director, Blind & Visually Impaired Services, had everyone fully engaged and smiling as the students made Play Doh teeth and practiced getting the right amount of paste out of a container onto a brush. They also learned the importance of washing hands to prevent illness and using a nailbrush to make sure hands are super clean.
